Overview
Not Your Average Therapy™ operates on a value-based care model. Our pricing reflects comprehensive care that is completely focused on your goals and outcomes. When starting care with us, we will require an initial evaluation based on the price below.
- One-on-One session covering assessment, education, and initiation of treatment
- Detailed Client Interview & Physical Assessment
- Prescription of customized home exercise program; Review of educational concepts
- Discussion of expected outcomes with complete transparency
Following an evaluation, recommended follow up will fall under one of the below NYA programs. Following the evaluation, we do not price services based solely on time spent in-session due to our devotion, service, accessibility, and time we give our clients when not in front of them. We plan our sessions ahead of time, we reach out to partners and colleagues for additional resources, we adjust our care to always ensure you get the most out of your therapy. This is why we are NYA!
Each NYA program includes the following and more:
- ANY and ALL follow up visits recommended
- Priority scheduling
- Discounted travel fees ($1 per additional mile)
- Direct therapist access
- Progress tracking and reassessment
- Access to therapist via client portal, text, or phone call
- Treatment to address deficits, goals, and needs.
- Care provided at home, in community, or workplace
- Caregiver training
- Virtual visits (if requested)
- Coordination of care including attendance of 1 (one) provider appointment if therapist schedule allows.
- Delivery of home exercise program (if applicable)
- Supplies and/or garments (if applicable)
- Coordination of pneumatic pump ordering with vendor (if applicable)
*All programs may be paid in full or via payment plan, installments, or Cherry Financing.
*Following completion of any NYA program, additional visits may be scheduled on a per-visit basis at $185 per visit.
*If you have a commercial insurance plan, you may request a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement of our services. This is not guaranteed and NYA Therapy will not bill or submit any claims to your insurance. Our payment structure is outlined in our payment agreement. Program-Based Services
NYA NeuroRestoration Program
8 weeks

Ideal For: Recovery of any neurological deficit including stroke, concussion, spinal cord injury, dizziness, imbalance, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and more.
Includes:
- Comprehensive neuro-assessment by board certified neurological clinical specialist
- Balance and movement analysis
- Individualized care with modifications to optimize independence
- Progressive home and community-based programming
- Home exercise program with video access
- Therapist oversight and caregiver training
- Written summaries (if requested)
NYA Legs (Intensive Program)
4 weeks
$2400
Ideal For: Individuals with lower extremity lymphedema or chronic leg swelling related to cancer treatment, surgery, trauma, or lymphatic dysfunction who need intensive swelling reduction and long-term management strategies.
Includes:
- Complete decongestive therapy materials
- 1 (one) pair of compression garments
- Treatment with pneumatic compression pump and coordinating getting your own pump (if-needed)
- Skin care education,
- Home programming and maintenance planning
- Education for independent condition maintenance
NYA Arms (Intensive Program)
4 – 6 weeks
$2400
Ideal For: Individuals with or at risk for breast cancer-related lymphedema, upper extremity swelling, radiation fibrosis, axillary web syndrome, and scar management.
Includes:
- Complete decongestive therapy with materials,
- 1 (one) pair of compression garments,
- Treatment with pneumatic compression pump and coordinating getting your own pump (if-needed),
- Skin care education,
- Home programming and maintenance planning,
- Education for independent condition maintenance.
NYA Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) Program
6 weeks (pending wound healing)

Ideal For: Individuals diagnosed with or at risk for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), venous stasis, or persistent lower extremity swelling including those experiencing leg heaviness, aching, varicose veins, skin discoloration or fibrosis, slow-healing or recurrent wounds, venous ulcers, or difficulty managing leg swelling independently.
Includes:
- Swelling assessment, limb measurements, complete decongestive therapy (if needed)
- 1 (one) pair of compression garments
- Wound care (if-needed)
- Lymphatic and venous support strategies
- Treatment with pneumatic compression pumps (if-needed)
- Compression optimization
- Skin integrity education
- Long-term self-management planning

NYA Therapy Consultation Program

NYA Home Consultation Program
1 Visit + 15 minute follow up phone call

NYA Virtual Consultation Program

Ideal For: Clients seeking expert guidance remotely, program oversight by specialized therapist.
Includes:
- Record review if applicable
- Personalized recommendations
- Home exercise program with portal access
- Follow-up communication including 2 x 15-minute phone calls
- 2–30-minute virtual consultation sessions

NYA Mobility & Wellness Program

- In person visits with movement screening
- Posture analysis

- Regular reassessments
- Home exercise program
- Injury prevention strategies with activity modifications if needed

Ideal For: Moms in their third trimester looking to manage swelling, support immune health, and receive expert care immediately after delivery and in the early postpartum period.
Includes:
- 4 weeks of continuous care spanning prenatal through postpartum
- Care provided by a Certified Lymphedema Therapist
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to help manage pregnancy-related swelling and support immune and lymphatic function
- Treatment with pneumatic compression pumps (if-needed)
- Hospital visit immediately after delivery for MLD
- Compression sock application postpartum to support circulation and immune health
- Postpartum follow-up care
- Incision work (C-section) *if applicable* once healed to support tissue healing and decrease scar roots
- Education and treatment to promote comfort, swelling management, recovery plan, and overall immune support
Ideal For: Moms experiencing earlier swelling or wanting longer, more proactive support through pregnancy and postpartum.
Includes:
- Everything in Tier 1 and

Includes:

- Care beginning earlier in pregnancy and continuing deeper into postpartum recovery
- The longest continuity of care before and after delivery

Mobile Service Area & Travel Policy
At Not Your Average Therapy™, we proudly offer in-home and on-site therapy services throughout the greater Gainesville area. The map above represents our standard 20-mile service radius from our home base.
If you live outside of this service area, we are still happy to come to you!
However, a travel fee of $2.00 per mile will apply for every mile beyond 20 miles, calculated both to and from your location. With an NYA Program, this fee is reduced to $1 per mile each direction.
Example: If your location is 25 miles away, the additional travel charge would be:
(5 extra miles × $2.00) × 2 (round trip) = $20 travel fee
We aim to provide convenient and accessible care while also ensuring fairness and efficiency for our mobile therapists. If you have questions about your location or need an estimate, feel free to contact us directly.
