FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Get Started?
Give us a call or send an email to discuss your needs. Additionally, we value connections with our clients, so an initial phone call is preferred to ensure we are a good fit. For skilled therapy services, a referral is required within 30 days of your first visit. You can request one from your medical provider.
Do I Need A Referral?
Yes! In Florida, you may start working with a therapist immediately. However, for any skilled therapy services, you must obtain a referral from a doctor within 30 days. This requirement does not apply to consultations or wellness-based services. Referrals for lymphedema or edema/swelling management should be directed to Zari Cooper for Occupational Therapy.
Do You Accept Insurance?
We are a cash-based practice and do not bill insurance. However, you may request a superbill to submit to your commercial insurance provider for possible reimbursement after paying in full. HSA accounts can also be used. We are not Medicare providers and do not submit documentation to Medicare. If you prefer full insurance coverage, we can recommend a clinic that accepts your plan.
What If My Primary Insurance Is Medicare, But My Secondary Insurance Is Commercial?
We treat this scenario as if you only have Medicare. Often, secondary commercial insurance will not reimburse any part of a superbill without a denial from the primary insurance (Medicare). We do not have a Medicare relationship, so we cannot provide documentation for Medicare submission. However, if reimbursement is essential, we can recommend a clinic that accepts your insurance.
What Are Your Prices?
Our pricing reflects the convenience and expertise we provide. Moreover, we offer various packages tailored to your needs. Check our Pricing page for details. You may also contact us via email or social media for questions about packages, services, or pricing.
Can I See Both A Not Average Therapist And A Therapist In A Traditional Clinic Setting That My Insurance Accepts?
Absolutely! We understand wanting to use insurance benefits for care. Furthermore, it is your right and choice for your healthcare. We do not need to be your sole therapy provider. We genuinely care about your success and wellbeing and can collaborate with your insurance-based therapists to best meet your goals.
